The Role: Due to expansion, they are seeking two lawyers to join their team. As a Land & Development Lawyer, you will manage development land transactions from inception to completion. Responsibilities include site acquisition, due diligence, funding, and legal completion. Collaboration with the Plot Sales Conveyancers and handling various legal matters within the land and development sector will be part of your role. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Land & Development Lawyer or in a similar role. Possess experience in the house building sector Professionalism, dedication, ambition Duties: Oversee affordable housing disposal, infrastructure agreements, and site setup. Lead transactions for land development, including Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements, Conditional Sale Agreements, and more. Oversee audit processes, reporting to managers/partners. Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training during audits. Produce draft accounts and audit files efficiently. Handle site acquisition, due diligence, and legal completion. Collaborate with senior management and specialists. Additional Duties: Handling land assembly for complex sites. Completion of unconditional site acquisitions. Developing bespoke sites for housebuilders. Managing collaboration agreements for site development. Handling mixed-use commercial developments.
