The Doubletree by Hilton is hiring an Assistant Banquet Manager. $14 to $16 per hour plus gratuities. Responsibilities:The Assistant Banquet Manager will assist and coordinate activities and direct training of Banquet staff to ensure superior quality of service and room arrangement for all meeting and banquet functions.In support or absence of the banquet manager, will direct the proper set-up and breakdown of all banquet functions. Ensures employee and guest safety in the set-up and arrangement of banquet functions. Directs the proper service of food and beverages in accordance with contractual agreements.Conducts pre-function meetings with staff to ensure the proper service and requirements of banquet functions. Directs and ensures the proper handling, usage, and storage of all banquet equipment and supplies. Greets and maintains communication with the customer contact for payment.
