Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is looking to hire a bi-lingual Spanish , Desktop and Network Support Technician who will provide computer and network support services in an enterprise environment.This is a full-time, on-site position in Hempstead, Long Island . Work hours are M-F, 8a - 4:30p. Our benefit offerings include medical, dental & vision insurance, 401k with company match, and PTO. Responsibilities : PC and hardware support including desktop & notebook computers, Apple iPads, Promethean interactive whiteboards, projectors, printers, telephones, etc. Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office, browser programs, antivirus, and other supported proprietary applications and systems. Provide hands-on technical support to all staff and administrators. Installing, configuring, and supporting network operating systems. Resolving complex workstation issues. Installing, configuring, and upgrading scripts and testing industry-standard workstation application software and operating systems. Administering a complex database or internet /intranet system and maintaining access at all workstations, including configuring, maintaining, and installing switches. Designing simple computer networks. Additional technical support and implementation including wireless network, mobile devices, console controls, and peripheral equipment. Essential Requirements: 3-5 years of technical support experience in a professional environment Clean and valid driver’s license and vehicle. This person will drive to various locations within a five-mile area. Bi-Lingual Spanish Local driving is required for this position. A reliable vehicle and a clean driver's license are required. A+ certification or equivalent work experience. Background check and fingerprinting will be required. Additional Requirements Network + and CCNA certifications are preferred. Proven ability to offer high-level support in an enterprise environment. Excellent customer service skills Ability to establish, nurture, and maintain a strong interpersonal relationship with end-users. Experience in the education field will be a plus.
