Position Summary Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a full-time faculty in Psychology for fall 2024. This position is located at the Mequon, WI campus in the Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences. Job Duties & Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities will include Experimental Psychology, Senior Research Seminar, Introductory Psychology and other courses in Psychology. While previous experience teaching research and methodology is preferred, candidates from all areas of specialization are welcome to apply. Candidates should be committed to student learning and professional development. This position also requires skills in program assessment and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additional responsibilities include committee work, student advising, and curriculum development. Faculty scholarship/research is expected and supported. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrates effective leadership, organizational skills, and is a self-starter Exhibits a willingness and ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations Familiar with the university campus life Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment Able to present a Christian and professional manner Candidates should possess strong written and oral communications skills Able to travel occasionally on behalf of the University All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines and work night/weekends as needed Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) Education & Experience Earned doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline is preferred although highly qualified applicants making good progress toward a Ph.D. will be considered. Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred. All ranked faculty members must be members of Christian congregations.
