General Description Equiscript is seeking a versatile and experienced individual for the role of Desktop Support Technician L2. In this position, you will be instrumental in both providing support for remote computer systems, ensuring optimal performance reliability, and supporting production teams with cloud solutions support. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance. Supporting our staff with quick and prompt triaging solutions Implementing automation tools and monitoring tasks within the cloud structure to enhance efficiency. Supporting and maintaining documentation for systems and processes. Maintaining and configuring computer systems, network servers, and all cloud-hosted infrastructure and security components. Supporting the implementation of security standards and ensuring compliance. Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Analyzing current technologies and processes to identify areas for improvement and expansion. Working closely with project management teams to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation of initiatives. Troubleshoot end-user hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues. Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently. Amazon Web Services, Azure administration Utilize Jira Service Desk for managing service level support. Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware, and equipment for optimal workstation performance. Install operating systems and software packages on computers and maintain user accounts in Active Directory. Troubleshoot and resolve computer issues using remote support tools. Assist in end-user training and support. Maintain procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring PC performance. Assist in long-term strategies and capacity planning for future hardware needs. Support new computer projects and hardware installations. Develop reports and deliverables for management using various tools. Assist in maintaining quality IS-related data and diagnosing VPN and IP Phone network issues. Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, between 9 am to 6 pm EST. Other duties as assigned. Professional Qualities Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking abilities. Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude toward change. Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks and data accuracy. Professional demeanor with a strong desire to deliver high-quality work. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong knowledge of current computing trends and technologies. Proficient in M365 administration, SharePoint / OneDrive permissions and migrations Preferred Experience Strong knowledge of current computing trends and technologies. Proficient in M365 administration, SharePoint / OneDrive permissions and migrations Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, roles, and profile access. Experience in cloud computing technologies, particularly with AWS and Azure. Experience with S3 buckets, AWS SFTP, and administrating docker jobs. Expertise in at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, or Windows. Proficiency in networking concepts including TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, and DNS. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, along with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development. Experience with system security measures, firewalls, and best practices. Healthcare industry experience is advantageous. Physical Requirements Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
