We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant/bookkeeper to join our expanding team! You'll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. This is an opportunity to bring order to our growing real estate office and see tangible results from your work on a daily basis! Responsibilities: • Utilize computer software to enter financial data and keep our records organized• Ready our books for monthly and quarterly reports• Manage all business account reconciliation to ensure every transaction is accounted for • Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary• Post detailed journal entries to the general ledger to streamline the reconciliation process Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred• Experience in real estate industry preferred• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software • Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must• Capable of using property management software such as Appfolio Compensation: $39,000 - $43,000 yearly About Company: Our Mission at Homestead & Co is to provide superior client service.
