International Field Service Managers

Fives Bronx Inc. has openings for International Field Service Managers at its facility in North Canton, Ohio. Job duties include: Installation, start-up and commissioning of equipment for the tube and pipe industry. Control and manage technological processes of tube mills and finishing equipment during equipment start-up and customer acceptance testing. Setup, performance tune, and maintain fluid pressure intensification systems used in hydrostatic high-pressure testing equipment. Evaluate and apply American Petroleum Institute (API) standards during commissioning and final acceptance of tube mill and finishing equipment. Calculate parameters for metal cutting processes for pipe end facing machines. Tune cutting tool positions to conform to pipe end profiles per API geometric specifications. Read and implement instrumentation functional controls per Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and functional diagrams. Analyze equipment structural frames for material deflection and yield under dynamic loading conditions. Develop on-site proposals for modifications and improvements. Work with equipment axillary systems using VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic valving and feedback devices to achieve the functionality and cycle time. Position requires: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field, or foreign education equivalent, and 5 years work experience in the tube industry in the position of Service Manager or other Service Engineering positions. 5 years of experience is required in each of the following: Managing installation and commissioning of equipment in the tube and pipe industry. Working with fluids pressure intensification systems used in high pressure hydrostatic testing equipment. Utilizing API standards for final acceptance of tube mill and finishing equipment at customers sites. Calculating parameters for metal cutting processes for pipe facing machines. Setting up cutting tools to achieve pipe end profiles conforming to API geometric standards. Working with Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and functional flow charts optimizing the processes. Root cause analyzing the equipment structural frames failures under load and developing proposals for modifications and improvements. Optimizing and troubleshooting VFD controls, hydraulic and pneumatic valving for speed and position control for functionality and cycle time. Experience may be obtained concurrently.
