The ideal candidate should bring a wealth of knowledge in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, with experience drafting plans, disclosure statements, and plan support agreements. The role will encompass involvement in 363 sales, analysis, and drafting of inter-creditor and subordination agreements, as well as participation in clawback actions and evaluation of leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses. The candidate is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and a solid grasp of Article 9 secured transactions. Strong academic credentials, equivalent law firm experience, and excellent research skills are prerequisites for this position, in addition to admission to the New York Bar.Duties:Handle a broad range of out-of-court and in-court restructurings.Draft plans, disclosure statements, and plan support agreements.Participate in 363 sales and contribute to clawback actions.Analyze and draft inter-creditor and subordination agreements.Evaluate leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses.Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code.Apply solid knowledge of Article 9 secured transactions to legal matters.Requirements:3–4 years of relevant legal experience.Experience with a top-tier law firm.Proficiency in out-of-court and in-court restructurings.Strong drafting skills for plans, disclosure statements, and agreements.Involvement in 363 sales and clawback actions.Analysis and evaluation of inter-creditor and subordination agreements.Comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code.Solid knowledge of Article 9 secured transactions.Outstanding academic credentials.Law firm experience or equivalent.Excellent research skills.Admission to the New York Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in handling out-of-court and in-court restructurings.Strong drafting skills for legal documents.Analysis and evaluation of various types of agreements.Comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code.Solid knowledge of Article 9 secured transactions.Excellent research skills and legal research capabilities.
