The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex cases, handling various aspects of litigation, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients. Duties:Manage and lead complex commercial litigation cases, overseeing all phases from initiation to resolution.Conduct and supervise discovery processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and deadlines.Take and defend depositions, demonstrating proficiency in eliciting key information and protecting client interests.Draft precise and compelling pleadings, motions, and legal documents.Coordinate and manage document review processes, leveraging technology and legal support staff effectively.Preferably, represent clients in court proceedings, showcasing strong courtroom advocacy skills.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.Should have some years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on complex litigation.Proven track record in handling commercial litigation cases through all stages.In-court experience preferred, demonstrating effective representation of clients.Outstanding academic credentials and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills:Proficient in commercial litigation and case management.Strong legal research and writing skills.Effective oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal documentation.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.Technologically adept, with the ability to leverage legal tech tools for document review and case management.
