What would you do as a Housing Eligibility Specialist II As a Housing Eligibility Specialist II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness, determining eligibility for housing programs, and providing excellent customer service to clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating program requirements to applicants, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient processing of applications. Your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in this role. Successful candidates for the Housing Eligibility Specialist II position will possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred candidates will also demonstrate the ability to provide compassionate customer service to a diverse clientele, strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Emphasys ELITE, and Laserfiche. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external partners, clients, and coworkers. Knowledge of general office practices, basic arithmetic, bookkeeping principles, HUD programs, and regulatory compliance is required.Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Qualified candidates must possess: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; OR Four years related experience and/or training; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
