70181-LP Customer Service AssociateSupports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by executing coreresponsibilities, focused on providing excellent customer engagement to customers. Deters actsof external dishonesty within the established customer engagement guidelines. Supports apositive customer shopping experience in the store and maintains a strong store partnershipwith store teams and loss prevention. Exercises sound judgment in decision-making to ensuretheir safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand. Adheres toCompany policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values.Duties and Responsibilities* Engages customers within 10 feet of them within 10 seconds and provides a positiveshopping experience, (e.g., greets customers, answers customer questions, demonstratescourtesy and respect, responds properly to Merchandise Protection pedestal activation).* Provides an effective deterrent to external theft by maintaining a professional and visiblepresence (e.g., front of the store, high shrink departments) and using approved customerengagement techniques.* Wears the designated CSA uniform.* Responds to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to Store Managementor Associates.* Observes and reports any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention orStore Management.* Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide sections titled EvacuatingPeople with Disabilities, Missing Child, Store Disturbances, Fire, SevereWeather/Natural Disaster, Bomb Threat, and Imminent Threat.* Identifies internal theft alert signals and reports them to their Manager.* Documents incidents as required in case management system.* Helps maintain a risk-free environment and communicates workplace safety issues toManagement in a timely manner.* Performs other duties as assigned.rev. 04.01.24Specify the number of Associates receiving day-to-day guidance/direction.Providing Direction/Guidance: 0List the most frequent INTERNAL and EXTERNAL contacts and the typical purpose of the contact.Indicate the position or title of the internal contact(s), or the name or type of organization forexternal contact(s).
