Summary Responsible for the preparation of grant proposals for the consideration of state and federal agencies and private foundations. Duties include tracking proposals, developing project budgets, and generating grant reports. Accountable for developing, researching, composing, editing and completing a wide range and variety of writing/editing assignments such as research projects, proposals, reports, correspondence, articles, and presentations across the entire department of Community Health Services. Developing Future Health Leaders: Providing training to health care providers and students on evidence-based models, best practices, and culturally appropriate care to increase knowledge and provide experience for addressing the needs of our diverse population. Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your very first day 2:1 Match on retirement savings Responsibilities* Uses U-M Proposal Management System (eRPM) to process and submit grant proposals Assists with IRB applications and support letters Functions as database administrator for designated programs Creates queries and reports for a variety of data and reporting needs Troubleshoots and works with support teams to resolve problems Updates database fields to meet needs/requirements of external funders Trains staff, students and volunteers on using designated databases. Creates and monitors data tracking forms for program data collection Completes all required reports in a timely manner Provides data to complete designated programs Annual Reports Reviews and tracks data through Crystal reports Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree Experience with grant writing and reporting Proficient with various databases Ability to extract and analyze data Ability to provide computer technical assistance to staff Proficient with Microsoft Excel Capable of producing professional reports Able to meet deadlines Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability Team player Excellent communication and writing skills (will be asked to show examples of your work) Desired Qualifications* Master's degree in public health, public administration, social work or business with emphasis on health care Demonstrated familiarity with U-M Proposal Management System (eRPM), eGRAMS and Qualtrics Demonstrated experience using Crystal reports to track data Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
