Southwood Animal Hospital, Inc is in Warner Robins, Georgia. We are a full-service animal hospital and welcomes dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics. We provide a full range of medical services, including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house blood work, and companion laser therapy. We also have on-site professional groomers. Position Skills: Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
