Title: Early Childhood Education - Center Director Location: Kid's Country - Everett, WA Join the early learning professional leadership team, a progressive, culturally diverse early learning program. The Center Director will be joining a team of teachers with a passion to make a difference in the lives of children. The central focus of our team is to connect with each child and family and to encourage and support them daily. The Director will teach and communicate with intention and passion and maintain a culture where all staff can thrive and grow professionally. A culture that supports a positive environment for our teachers as well as the children and families that attend our center. Primary Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Minimum Licensing Requirements Monitor and train teaching staff. Keep accurate and concise records. Prepare timely and accurate weekly and monthly reports. Approve and accurately employee time, attendance, and onboarding new employees. Conduct tours for prospective families Familiarize parents with center policies. Maintain complete and up-to-date attendance files for enrolled children Develop and implement strategies to address key metrics Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field preferred WA Director qualified 5 years of management experience, 2 years early childhood preferred 30 MERIT training hours complete. 2+ years experience working with children Must be Pediatric CPR certified or achieve certification within the first 3 months of employment Must obtain health assessment before employment and continue to keep current and up to date per state regulations. Employee must meet all state requirements relative to criminal background check, FBI finger printing and child abuse clearance prior to beginning employment Ability to lift in excess of forty (40) lbs Ability to pass state and federal background checks EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Early Learning Academies (ELA) is an equal opportunity employer.
