Job Description Job Title: Material Handler FLSA Status: Non-exempt Summary Receives, stores, and issues materials by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must pass forklift training Must be able to lift 50 lbs Offloads trucks Uses hand trucks Proficient in math skills Most of time spent outdoors Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and supplies, and notifies supervisor of inventory shortages Marks and identifies supplies and inventory Is assigned to perform other temporary duties on an as needed basis Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in group problem-solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
