The successful candidate will be able to work on patent litigation matters for top clients, including district court actions, inter-part reviews, and licensing negotiations. Duties: • Handle patent litigation matters, including district court actions and inter partes reviews. • Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. • Assist in all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel. • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes. Requirements: • 14 years of experience litigating intellectual property disputes, such as district court patent or PTAB proceedings. • Admitted to practice law in State Bar. • Strong academic credentials. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • A Bachelor's degree in a computer science- or technology-related field is preferred. Skills: • Litigation experience in intellectual property matters. • Proficiency in legal research and writing. • Knowledge of patent law and procedures. • Background in science and technology, preferably with a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or physics. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
