Job PurposeProvide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to contribute to the realization of service: related sales and service targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -Follows all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000-Operates material handling equipment per OSHA requirements-Is directly responsible for company assets such as service vehicles, inventory, tools, laptops, and test equipment-Maintains truck log, if necessary, according to provincial and or federal requirements-Maintains good communication with Field Supervisor-Completes and submits reports as required-Coordination of shipping and receiving, and in the field, material audits to identify shortages-Support the installation of DC Power plants, BDFB's, inverters, UPS, and DC Battery systems-Support Commissioning of DC power plants, inverters, and battery conductance readings, testing of system and equipment alarms-Perform/support rectifier and inverter module swaps, and updating system inventories-Perform/support Preventative Maintenance routines, which would include completing reports and data analysis, which would identify key areas where the clients could improve their systems or are at risk based on the data collected-Install data cabinets, cable tray infrastructure, including load bearing axillary systems, Fiber Optic Raceways, Grounding and alarm connections -Provide support for maintaining calibration of tools-Interacts with internal and external stakeholders-Travel when required to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance-Contribute to company revenue and margin targets by supporting the execution of quality work within project timelines and budget Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 3:5 years of previous experience in field support within DC Power and or Telecom industryBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office and the InternetBasic mechanical aptitudePrevious experience working with hand and power toolsAble to read with comprehension and write documents (such as customer correspondences, memos, and reports) in EnglishAble to perform basic math such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAble to solve simple equationsExperience should be substantively in the Electrical related fieldHigh School Diploma or equivalentAb
