Position overview Are you looking for a great opportunity? As a Production Supervisor youre going to be responsible for safe and efficient day to day operations of designated production area. Youll supervise group leaders andproduction operators, plan and prioritize daily operations to ensure operations run efficiently and according toschedule. If you are an individual who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins, we would like to hear from you Responsibilities:Ensure safe operation of all production processes. Ensure employees are working safely at all times.:Support and comply with all requirements of ISO/QMS and SHE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.:Communicate production priorities to group leaders and operators. Assign daily tasks as needed.:Administrative duties tasks such as employee time entry system, overtime assignment as necessary, shift reports, batch reports, maintenancework orders, incident reports, etc.:Coordinate employee training activities and ensure all training requirements are met. Validate employee competencies.:Prioritize workloads requirements to meet production supply plan demands.:Interacts with maintenance and the lab to rectify and address problems.:Troubleshoot problems in the production area in Operations as necessary. Required skills and experience:5 years of previous experience in leadership roles in a manufacturing environment, within chemical are preferred.:Experience in a union environment is a plus.:Availableto work 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends on occasion.:Fluent English is required. Qualifications:High School diploma required.:Bachelor's degree in Science our Business field a plus.
