This position requires a dynamic attorney adept at thinking critically and strategically about legal disputes.Job Duties:Represent clients in commercial litigation across various forums, including state and federal courts.Draft and review pleadings, motions, and briefs for complex litigation cases.Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and manage trial preparation.Engage in negotiation settlements and alternative dispute resolutions to effectively resolve disputes.Perform extensive legal research and remain current with changes in the law.Collaborate with other team members to develop legal strategies.Manage relationships with clients, providing regular updates and strategic advice.Requirements:1-6 years of experience in commercial litigation.Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple matters.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:An active member of the Texas Bar Association.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan.Contributions to health and dental plans.Subsidized gym membership.Disability coverage.This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth in a supportive and challenging environment, providing a platform for developing sophisticated litigation skills while working on diverse and complex cases.
