The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical and rehabilitation medicine and be able to work with patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and promoting health and wellness within their communities. Responsibilities: Patient Care: We would require you to provide primary and specialty care to our patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: We would require you to emphasize preventive care and health education, educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Collaboration: We would require you to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Diagnosis and Treatment: We would require you to diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. You may order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies. Prescriptive Authority: We would require you to prescribe medications, including controlled substances, within their scope of practice. Patient Advocacy: We would require you to advocate for our patients' needs and preferences, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support throughout their healthcare journey. Care Coordination: We would require you to coordinate care for patients with complex health needs, collaborating with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Salary: $65-$150 Medical specialties: Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine MUST HAVE (NP or RN License in VA) Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Henrico, VA 23229: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
