Elite Staffing Network is seeking an Echosonographer in Henderson, NC. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using a variety of ultrasound equipment and techniques.- Obtain and record patient history, including relevant symptoms and medical information.- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnostic purposes.- Analyze sonograms, synthesizing information from various sources to determine the appropriate course of action.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and test results.- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.- Proficiency in performing sonographic procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams.- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.- Ability to accurately interpret sonograms and identify abnormalities or potential areas of concern.- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as cardiac catheterization and vital sign monitoring.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
