Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person, working as a team with the nurse manager, staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach -financial/quality/safety/operational -targets.Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, offers a community-based approach to Long Term Care. It features a unique neighborhood design in which the resident rooms are located around the activity center, living, and dining areas to encourage more socialization and interactionSTATUS: -Per DiemLOCATION: -Edna Tina Wilson Living CenterDEPARTMENT: -Long Term CareSCHEDULE: -Off-Shifts---ATTRIBUTES Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program required; Bachelors preferred. - One to three years of nursing experience. LT PAC nursing experience preferred. - One year of supervisory experience preferred. -RESPONSIBILITIES Management: Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established guidelines Clinical Assessment: Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving, assessments, special procedures & clinical skill enhancements Admissions: Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicatedEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: -BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$34.50 - $48.00CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14612The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
