The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of legal tasks, including medical records analysis, court appearances, depositions, and motions practice, with opportunities for growth and advancement. Duties:Review and prepare summaries of medical records.Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, and appellate documents.Draft discovery requests and responses, including related motions.Regularly attend court appearances on behalf of clients.Take and defend depositions of both fact witnesses and expert witnesses.Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions.Draft motions for summary judgment. Requirements:3-10 years of experience in General Liability litigation.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills.Experience with medical records analysis.North Carolina licensed attorney. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active license to practice law in the State of North Carolina. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.Familiarity with medical records analysis.Ability to take and defend depositions.Proficiency in drafting various legal documents.
