Location Chapleau, ON Purpose The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all warehouse functions including maintenance of warehouse equipment, updating, and generating/managing annual inventory counts, location system maintenance, stock movement analysis, and job observations. The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for all prescribed requirements under the Canada Occupational Health & Safety Act (OH&S) and warehouse shelving as laid out by the Ministry of Labor and safe and efficient daily operations of all warehousing functions and personnel. Essential Duties Required to handle all goods and materials consistent with company and departmental policies Required to work within and ensure compliance to the Canada OH&S Act shelving as it relates to racking and designated substances under WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Maintain a safe working environment in the Supply Chain Department while adhering to Newmont’s Environmental and Sustainability Policy, Global Supply Chain Policies, Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Porcupine Gold Mines Policies and procedures. Responsible to keep the work environment clean and safe Must ensure all goods and materials are stored properly in a safe manner away from traffic Required to wear PPE as prescribed by the Canada OH&S Act and company.
