Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Salary: $23.00 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Available Positions:1 Location:1824 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC, V5N 4A5, Canada Skill Requirements: - Education: No formal education required- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required - Languages: Written and Oral English Specific Skills: • Supervise and coordinate supermarket staff• Assign supermarket workers to duties and prepare work schedules• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supplyshortages• Maintain specified inventory and order food and products for sale• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new supermarket staff and monitor and reporton performance• Ensure the visual standards and image of the stupermaket are maintained, such asdisplays, signage and cleanliness• May perform the same duties as workers supervised• May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closingthe supermarket, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies.
