Steel Welder Summary: Responsible for using a variety of welding equipment to fabricate or produce product Duties and Responsibilities: Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety Quality control Weld metal parts together Grinding material Keep shop clean Organize finished product Load pallets with finished product Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding Regular and reliable attendance Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets Contribute to continuous improvement culture Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned Physical Requirements per 10 Hour Day: Physical Requirements Seldom 1-5% Occasional 6-33% Frequent 34-66% Constant 67-100% Sit X Stand/Walk X Climb (ladders/stairs) X Twist/Turn X Bend/Stoop X Squat/Kneel X Crawl X Reach X Work above shoulders X Grasp X Fine manipulation X Operate foot controls X Lifting/Pushing Seldom Occasional Frequent Constant Lift 75 lbs 75 lbs 45 lbs. 35 lbs.
