Accounting Clerk Perfetto Contracting Co Inc is seeking an Accounting Clerk. The candidate will have the opportunity for professional growth and development. You will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients. You will help ensure our records are consistent with all submitted financial statements. As an accounting, you will also post journal entries to the general ledger and perform administrative duties, such as data entry and filing. This role is open to candidates with two years of experience to work at least 25 hours per week. You must be proficient with basic computer programs and willing to learn. This position will also allow you to gain valuable experience in the areas of Accounting. Job Description Analyze financial data Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy File documents Create and maintain various training materials, standard work documents, process & user guides where needed Other administrative support as needed Accounting Requirements and Qualifications: Active enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information A willingness to learn Detail-oriented Analytical skills Job Setting & Physical Demands: Work will primarily be indoors at our corporate office. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to use a computer and other standard office equipment. Fluency in the English language and the ability to see, speak, hear, read, and write are required.
