Partner with the best As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will will be responsible for testing a feature and/or a small feature set using a variety of testing methodologies such as manual and automated: functional, performance, reliability, and user scenarios. Contributes to the team and works with direction from senior team members or management.As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining robust test automation systems integrating hardware, firmware and software. Developing and running automated as well as manual testing processes and procedures. Working with and coordinate validation testing procedures with remote engineering teams. Reducing risk and promote sustainability by utilizing and driving standardization. Understanding products from customer's perspective and test accordingly. Driving quality into the development process, through analysis and feedback of testing results, working directly with the design teams. Identifying and logging detailed bugs in the bug tracking system. Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI/CD, Software and Product Security, Scalability and Reliability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college. Experience in test automation and test plan management Basic understanding of electrical circuit components and operation. Knowledge of test-driven development concepts.
