Bestlogic Staffing is currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our our client in East Granby, CT. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various metal components using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. This is a temporary contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.Key Responsibilities:- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metal components, including stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including gas tanks, torches, and filler rods- Ensure that all welds meet quality standards and specifications- Inspect finished welds for defects and make necessary repairs- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and tools- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environmentQualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding- Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques and equipment- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints- Proficient in basic math and measurement skills- Experience working with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminum- Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures- Strong attention to detail and quality control- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as neededWe are looking for a dedicated and skilled TIG Welder to join our team at Bestlogic Staffing.
