Lead Maintenance Technician - Nights

Description:
General Purpose:Ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently, including preventative maintenance, overhauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Assist maintenance management and provide training, work direction, and guidance as needed to ensure all work performed meets department and plant expectations.--Job Duties and Responsibilities:Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrivePerform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment in compliance with all safety proceduresSupport the installation of new equipment, support and implementation of preventive maintenance programAssist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtimeEnsure all repairs are documentedKeep management informed of any maintenance issuesComplete work orders as assignedFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgmentFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required.
