IKEA Food team in Lakeside are looking to welcome fast-paced and hardworking Food & Beverage assistants to join our team Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential, all you need is a roll up your sleeves mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves. We are looking for people who are passionate about food and great service. You will be working across our Swedish food market/ Bistro where no two days are the same. BISTRO The role will involve preparing food, serving customers, processing payments for food orders and keeping the department clean and tidy, we work hard but have a fun time whilst doing it! SWEDISH FOOD MARKET In our Food Market you will ensure our customers have a great experience when they take a little bit of Sweden home with them, your day to day responsibility will be to ensure our shop is tidy, priced and full at all times will be Due to health and safety you must be over 18 for this role. Expected Starting Date: 9th March 2024 WHAT WE OFFER • £12.00 per hour • Living Wage Foundation Employer • Permanent job We have various contract sizes available and your availability will be discussed at interview • 12 hours per week, full weekends only • 18 hours, 4 days per week, 3 out of 4 weekends and two late nights We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work, late evenings, and full weekends.
