Syndeo Staffing is searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Manufacturing Associate in El Dorado, KS. This is a direct hire opportunity.The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, under the direction of the Production Supervisor. This person will be responsible for operating manufacturing/packaging equipment, which includes equipment set-up, checking for the quality of the product, and meeting production schedules. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment Hanging and sealing bags of product Filling and sealing shaker bottles of product Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level Place product on pallets according to specifications Assist with maintaining equipment which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines Stuffing product labels at a medium to fast pace Hand mix product when necessary Maintain a clean and safe work area Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills Demonstrated ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors Must be able to work independently and in a team environment Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and cold along with humid conditions and dust Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 4:00 pm Pay: $15 - $16 DOE
