As a supplier quality engineer intern, your main responsabilities will be: Apply and deploy Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with Procurement. Responsible for Non-Conformity Report management and Supplier performance for a precise scope of suppliers/projects, after the product validation, the First Article Inspection (FAI) + 3 deliveries. Perform inspections for low-critical parts Manage Quality performance of assigned Suppliers Manage Incoming Inspection activities when appointed SQ inspection leader for the given site She/he will be responsible for Performance measurements including complete inspections within allocated target lead time and ensure priority inspections are completed on time, Accuracy and correct defect characterization in Non-conformities and related ERP tasks (blocking stock, tasking, etc. ), Ensure set up and implementation of continuous performance improvement actions with a regular analysis of downward trend in quantity of NCRs detected after incoming inspection during the production cycle (non-functional issues only) and Manage Incoming Inspection activities when required. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent. Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc. ) Fluent in English 1 to 3 years’ experience in Quality, Production or Manufacturing (an asset).
