The Role: We are seeking a n innovative Manufacturing Engineer for our Oakville, Ontario location who can gather internal teams with external forces. As a key member of our Operations team, you will collaborate with other Thermon teams in supporting our operations to meet critical project deadlines and project budgets. The Manufacturing Engineer is a self-starter and team player who works towards implementing an overall strategic pla n related to designing and developing equipment and process to supporting the manufacturing of Thermon's products while supporting lean initiatives of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead efforts to develop new proces s technology to support manufacturing of existing products and implementing new pr ocesses into production. Develop , own and execute Lean, continuous improvement events to reach established goals in various Value Streams by following safety, quality, delivery, inv entory and productivity guidelines. Prepares and presents project performance reviews and identifies risk s/challenges to insure accurate resource forecasting, successful project completion and customer satisfaction. Balancing the needs of the business and its stakeholders while setting expectations through clear communication Requirements: Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or similar field of study. 4+ years of relevant experience Excellent project management experience as well as verbal and written communication skills Understanding of Lean Manufacturing initiatives with an emphasis on Continuous Improvement.
