The Role: As the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, you are responsible for planning, directing, monitoring, continually improving, and ensuring the effectiveness of all financial planning and budgeting, reporting, and analysis for CLBC. You will contribute to the strategic development and management of CLBC by providing effective stewardship of the financial planning and analysis processes and support functions. Key areas of responsibility include: Financial planning and the development of the annual operating and capital budget Forecasting, monitoring, analysis and reporting of financial performance throughout the year The development and application of the requisite tools, policies and procedures to support the functional financial planning, analysis and reporting infrastructure The development and maintenance of the accountability framework with the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction The development of funding proposals and Treasury Board submissions to support strategic and service plans Financial reporting to the Ministry and Treasury Board in accordance with the accountability framework and other government requirements The maintenance and optimization of CLBC's service provider contract costing templates including the design and implementation.
