Academic Program Spec Department: 367002XXXX Arts & Sciences Dean Office Job no: 517478 Employment type: Staff Full Time (Unclassified - Regular) Location: Manhattan, Kansas Worksite: On-site requirement Categories: Administrative / Professional, Student Affairs / Services Pay Grade: 07A About This Role: This position serves in the College of Arts & Sciences Deans Office Center for Student Success & Engagement. The incumbent is responsible for greeting students and visitors, working with academic and student correspondence, KSIS updates, handling/maintaining student records, and supporting different student events. What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience. Two or more years' experience in general office and administrative support work. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including editing. Demonstrated experience in customer service. Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented. Experience working on a computer and demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.) Ability to handle multiple priorities. The ability to make independent decisions when necessary. Other Requirements: Must be available to work Saturdays in June (usually there are two) for New Student Enrollment and two Saturdays for Commencement in December and May.
