Manufacturing Engineer Location: Woking. Shift : Days Inside IR35 This Manufacturing Engineer role is required to cover requirement for process updates as well as complete time in motion studies. You will be supporting the manufacturing and Industrial engineering department. The Manufacturing Engineer role: As a Manufacturing Engineer you will provide first hand support in the development and execution of the manufacturing process sequence for our Series Models, ensuring seamless integration into our existing production environment. You will have the opportunity to work with expert teams across the business as well as within your own functional groups to deliver repeatable, robust assembly processes, and the documentation supporting this, from inception to series production. You will be involved in scoping, specifying, and delivering best operational practices in alignment with brand expectations; and support the manufacturing engineering team with the development of departmental budgets as a contributor to overall program business cases. Achieving all project gateway milestones is key to the successful delivery of all new products so you will support in the delivery of specific program objectives to ensure this happens. As a Process Engineer, you will also support the Manufacturing Engineering Team in the generation of project plans and selection of new technologies to support production delivery activities. The ideal Manufacturing Engineer: Process documentation creation Vehicle assembly processes Assembly equipment, with procurement experience favourable Planning and execution of new vehicle program targets Operational constraints CAD software (CATIA preferable) Personal Attributes of the Manufacturing Engineer: As one of our Process Engineers you will ideally have an understanding and appreciation for niche vehicle production and brand requirements.
