JOB : Manufacturing Engineer LOCATION : Aldermaston TERM: Permanent SALARY : up to GBP 45,000 : GBP 65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis in the Newbury area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Your main duties will include assisting to implement new products within the manufacturing line as well as carrying out continuous improvement projects. The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer. : Previous experience working within NPI or New Product Introduction. : Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement principles. : Good knowledge complete manufacturing processes. : Can communicate with other members of staff and management. : Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. : Excellent organizational and planning skills. : Ability to work independently as well as team : Experience using cycle time analysis and shop floor analysis are very beneficial : Previous experience within Precision Machining : Beneficial The Manufacturing Engineer role will involve: : Overseeing introduction of new products to Manufacturing : Communicating with design departments to ensure products can be manufactured efficiently. : Carrying out continuous improvement projects to optimise manufacturing. : Helping to advise on Manufacturing methods of new products If you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
