The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Director of Materiel Services and within the Vision, Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Seven Oaks General Hospital, the SUPERVISOR EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES is responsible for receiving and shipping storage, and distribution of all medical & surgical supplies and equipment. The supervisor is responsible for the recruitment and management of personnel in Receiving/Shipping and Stores, Central Dispatch, Mail Room and Print Shop… Experience Minimum of five years warehouse experience, preferable in a health care setting. Demonstrated knowledge of materiel handling, including receiving, shipping, storage, internal distribution and inventory control. Minimum three years related experience in a supervisory or management position (in a health care setting preferred). Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Active pursuit of Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation from Supply Chain Management Association Institute Canada, or related course in Inventory Control and Warehouse Management.
