Position located in Rosepark QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree required, BA degree with emphasis on Human Development or related field preferred. Bi-lingual preferred Previous experience with Head Start preferred. As an ERSEA Specialist you are: Responsible for implementation, compliance and monitoring in Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) according to Head Start Performance Standards. Ensure that the funded enrollment levels are continuously monitored and maintained throughout the year. Maintain and process data regarding enrollment into information management system to develop reports to support timely and accurate information for the program. Oversee and process applications for accuracy and timeliness. Including determination of eligibility and selection criteria for new and participating families. Knowledge of the program's selection criteria system for eligibility and ensures correct documentation is used to determine eligibility. Monitors all information prior to enrolling a child. Follow the Federal Poverty Guidelines to comply with the Head Start Performance Standards to ensure all guidelines are met in regards to serving children with disabilities and families who exceed low income Knowledge of Child Care subsidy requirements, TANF, SSI, and Foster Care and McKinney Vento. Manages time efficiently to ensure all eligibility documentation, attendance data, and end of month reports are completed timely and accurately. Participates in community outreach and implements recruitment strategies to ensure families most in need are served and maintains professional relationships with outside agencies. Continue ongoing professional development through trainings, meetings and/or education courses. Assist with the design and deliver training to staff, community partners and parents on eligibility and topics related to ERSEA regulations, policies and procedures. May have an emphasis in one of the following areas: Attendance, Eligibility, Recruitment, and/or Monitoring.
