Through its merger with Oil Search, Santos has acquired and assumed operatorship over a world-class portfolio of oil leases on the Alaskan North Slope, USA. Our focus in Alaska is advancement of our Pikka Phase 1 project, which includes a single drill site, an oil processing facility, and other infrastructure to support production of 80,000 barrels of oil per day. Pikka has been identified as being among the top quartile of oil and gas development projects for greenhouse gas emissions performance. Pikka is poised to play an important role in the energy transition and is aligned with our company goal of managing climate change risk. Santos and its partner Repsol has committed the funding for Pikka Phase 1 and is on track to deliver first oil by 2026. The Pikka Unit is one of the largest conventional oil discoveries made in the United States in the last 30 years, and the Pikka Phase 1 Project is the most significant development on Alaska's North Slope in more than 20 years. The permitted Pikka development project includes two additional drill sites. The Alaska assets also include discoveries made from both the Mitquq and Stirrup exploration wells drilled in 2020. These opportunities combine to offer a clear path to long-term growth in Alaska. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES End User Support Troubleshooting and prioritizing incidents and requests whilst managing outstanding problems and ticketed incidents and requests. Resolution of level 1 & 2 tickets from end users. Ensures compliance with applicable company policies, systems, and procedures. Completes the configuration and deployment of new end user computing equipment. Complete administration and provisioning of user access rights and privileges in line with company security standards and procedures. Process & Procedure Identify areas for improvement related to end user support. Maintain up to date documentation for repeatable tasks. Collaborate with global Service Desk counterparts to successfully deliver a timely solution. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Formal Qualifications Associates degree or other relevant Service Desk certification. For the right candidate, the equivalent practical experience would be considered. Skills / Technical Competencies Essential Ability to troubleshoot end user issues, such as: Printers Network connectivity MS Teams & related technology issues Citrix connectivity issues Ability to write and follow documented procedures and encourage knowledge sharing amongst team members Strong Customer Service orientated approach to resolving issues. Excellent people skills and ability to multi-task in a demanding environment. Desire and ability to work as part of a global team Ability to participate in afterhours work Highly Regarded ITIL v3 (or higher) Foundations Certification Experience with Powershell Scripting, Active directory users & computers, Azure, AWS, Service-Now, Office 365 Demonstrated understanding of Cyber Security best practices (eg; role-based access control) Experience Essential Minimum of 1 years' experience in a Corporate IT position; delivering end user support in remote, onsite and over the phone scenarios Working with remote Vendor support and on-site consultants Maintaining Knowledge Articles Highly Regarded Previous experience working in an Oil & Gas Environment Alaska experience preferred
