POSITION SUMMARY Temp Labor helps relocate office furniture, equipment, supplies, etc.; assists with the demolition and installation of carpet; moving slot machines; and other general labor that is not performed by Casino staff. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Adhere to Casino Policies & Procedures Complies with Spokane Tribe Casino (STC) Employee Handbook Complies with STC Timekeeping & Payroll processes Workplace Safety Performs tasks with a safety mindset and as directed by the supervisor Understands and complies with workplace accident procedures Relocation - breakdown, packaging, moving, and installation Follows the directions and instructions for efficient and damage free relocation of Casino office furniture, equipment, and supplies Has been briefed and understands the use of tools and equipment Demolition and Installation of Carpet Able to move carpet with pallet jacks and hand trucks Assists installers with the demolition an installation of carpet Relocation Slot Machines Able to use the equipment provided for moving slot machines Assists with slot machine assembly when required GENERAL CONDITIONS Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion Ability to follow directions and understand instructions Education & Experience 0 None required REGULA TORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to the other duties described herein , each team member has the following responsibilities related to comp l iance with laws and regulations: Employment is contingent on receiving and mainta i ning adequate licensing , including any required non-gaming temporary license. Attend requi r ed training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Casino Perform the duties described in compl i ance with local laws and regulations Have knowledge of the ordinances , regulations , laws , policies , and procedures r elat i ng to the Casino WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job .
