Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ is seeking highly motivated food service professionals to help provide the highest quality food products to all of your guests resulting in an exceptional dining experience. Dishwasher/Prep Cook Job Summary The Dishwasher/Prep Cook will be responsible for daily cleaning duties including but not limited to washing dishes. Duties include operating the dish machine, cleaning all areas of the back of the house as well as assisting the chef in some food prep items while maintaining public health and safety requirement. Dishwasher/Prep Cook Duties and Responsibilities Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations Setting up, breaking down cooking equipment and dish machine equipent Understanding labels for chemicals and adhering to safety procedures for all chemicals used Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils Storing and labeling all food properly Organizing supplies, stocks and food supplies Dishwasher/Prep Cook Requirements and Qualifications Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Physical endurance to stand for entire shift Self-motivated and self-directed Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks Eligible to work in the United States Previous experience as a dish washer or relevant work experience preferred, but not required Legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol Able to work mornings, nights, and weekends able to bend, move, and lift up to 45 pounds or more Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 45 pounds or more Able to read
