Wilkes University invites applicants for an open Studio Art & Watercoloring high school teaching enrichment position in the Upward Bound Program for the summer session. Upward Bound is a federally funded Trio Program, which provides support to participants in their preparation for college and ultimately, in their higher education pursuits. The successful candidate is responsible for implementing the enrichment component of the Program by conducting live Studio Art, instructing watercoloring projects, and teaching various techniques to a small group of high school level students. A Bachelor's degree in Art, Education, and/or a related field is required. This is a part-time/temporary position with a competitive hourly wage. Program dates run from June 19th through July 27th and classes are held throughout the week, Monday - Thursday (1:15P.M. - 2:30P.M.). Studio Art is on Monday & Wednesdays, Watercoloring is on Tuesday & Thursdays. To apply, visit https://wilkesuniversitycareers.applicantpro.com/jobs/ .
