We are a fast growing company and are looking for an expert in consumer finance collections to help us add this service to our client offerings. This is your chance to apply your expertise to create a highly effective and efficient Collections department. We ll be relying on you to make sure it s done right! You ll create strategies and workflow to maximize collections efforts, resolve delinquencies and minimize losses. This means you ll conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluations to identify opportunities and provide leadership for improvement initiatives and process enhancements. We re sure this is just a start! We ll rely on you to take us from here. Bring your entrepreneurial expertise, get it done attitude, and boundless energy, along with: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or related field and 5-7 years collections related experience in the consumer finance industry. Proven track record of success in resolving consumer delinquencies, reducing losses and preserving the consumer relationship. Expertise in a variety of collections concepts, practices, tactics and procedures, and the ability to tailor and apply this knowledge as the situation warrants. Extensive knowledge of all state and federal government regulations as they apply to the consumer finance industry is a MUST! Solid general business knowledge, and the ability to see big picture . Exceptional oral and written communications skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships internally and externally. Pleasant, professional phone demeanor a must! High analytical aptitude and ability to work through problems independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products Demonstrated knowledge of collections software programs to evaluate and assess needs as required We build processes while we are simultaneously launching the service.
