The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of shop, the Drug Distribution & Digital Health Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the planning and management of patient-centered medical care services & Digital Health support regionally including LTC Winkler shop and administrative responsibilities as assigned. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff including physicians, nurses and other professional personnel in a multidisciplinary health care setting as well as with all classifications of shop personnel. Demonstrated poise and aptitude for communicating professional information and the ability to deal appropriately with matters of an urgent nature. As a member of the Department’s Leadership Team, the incumbent will collaborate with site Pharmacist to ensures that medical care services are aligned with strategic priorities and meet high standards of quality and patient safety. The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
