Caledon Tubing Production Team Member, St. Marys, Ontario Starting rate is $21.40 Shift Premium Monthly Attendance Bonus $200/month Yearly Attendance Bonus Employee of the Month Bonus Birthday Gift Cards Staff appreciation meals (minimum 6/year) includes BBQ's, Food truck on site, taco/burrito buffet, etc. Primary Responsibility: To operate all equipment as per Work Instructions safely and responsibly Tasks: Inspect tubing for quality and defects Assist Coating Technician as required Maintain regular, good throughput Complete paperwork completely and accurately Operate coiler and tube cutting equipment Package as per Final Packaging Matrix Inform Team Leader and Quality Control if parts are nonconforming Weigh scrap and record scrap data Operate all equipment safely and responsibly Operate all equipment as per Work Instructions Understanding of reactions needed to the process for out of control parameters Understanding the effects of non-conforming product and how to react to ensure that these parts are not shipped to the customer Housekeeping Perform daily Crane inspections and record Ensure compliance to IATF 16949 All other duties as requested by Team Leader Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills Fluent verbal/written English skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks Good computer skills Ability to troubleshoot Experience or Knowledge: One year experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive Knowledge of Quality standards - ISO-9001/IATF 16949 Safety: Under the Occupation Health and Safety Act (OHSA), worker responsibilities include the following: Working in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures.
