Financial Controller – Hospitality group Location: Malta Salary: €45,000 per annum My client is an innovative and well-respected operator with multiple food and beverage concepts and hotels in the Mediterranean. They are currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth and development, which has resulted in the need a Financial Controller The Financial Controller will be reporting directly to the CFO. The Job Apart from the day-to-day work, and she / he will be- Preparing monthly management statements in a timely manner to allow the review of the company’s financial performance. - Actively leading the preparation of the yearly budget and regular forecasts together with other department Managers and the CFO. - Preparing of cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information relative to upcoming and existing projects or business opportunities. - Acting as the first line of contact of the external auditors to ensure a prompt and accurate preparation of the statutory audit. - Ensuring the timely monitoring of debtors, credit control and effective reporting to the Group CFO and senior management as required. - Will support the accounts staff with daily monitoring of cash settlements and accounts receivables and motivate and lead the members of the finance team on a daily basis. Requirements- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word- Proven work experience in a similar position- ACCA qualification or equivalent About You- Excellent communication and people skills- Good organizational and multitasking abilities- Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving- Eye for detail and a positive working attitude- Strong organizational and follow-up skills- Time-management skills- Be assertive and self-sufficient. - Experienced in working in a fast-pace environment- Autonomous and able to work in a team- English fluency oral and written Must have European passport or existing Rights to Work in Malta If you are interested in having a chat about.
